Hi! I’m David Hatton, an assistant pastor with Faith Legacy Church serving in an off-campus
ministry called Village Community Church. Our team consists of myself, Susie Veon, Dawn
Valerio (our worship pastor), and my wife Rosemary (our pianist). Since VCC starts at 9:00 AM
and lasts only 45 minutes, Susie and I are able to be in FLC’s 10 AM service.

From its beginning in January of 1996 until now, VCC has been a mission church outreach
serving seniors living in a local, gated retirement community. We see it as a small but bright
lighthouse for Christ among a fairly large elderly population, providing residents of various
denominations a place for corporate worship and nurture in Scripture.

But VCC also offers FLC members an outlet to serve. Our services require a physical set-up and
break-down each week. Our pulpit schedule has room for seasoned and developing speakers to
exercise their gifts in teaching from God’s Word. If God speaks to you about serving at VCC in
