In 2014 God gave our lead pastor, Jeff Jennings, a vision to launch multiple campuses all around the Sacramento area. Over the last 60 years FLC has either planted or been a part of more than 10 church plants. We have been a church committed to sharing the gospel and shaping communities through churches. This past year, after nine years of youth ministry at FLC, God spoke clearly to pastor Brennan and Amy McCurdy to become the campus pastors of FLC’s first extension campus. Our hearts are for a key area about 20 minutes from FLC’s Whitney campus. This area is rich in diversity from college students to working families to a multi-ethnic culture. We have a huge desire to see God take our culture that has been created of being a church in the community for the community and plant it in the heart of this area longing for a church.
Our Campus Pastor
Brennan McCurdy has been married to his wife Amy since 2009 and they have three daughters (Layla, Aria and Elli). They are a couple who are easy to get along with and love to connect with people. Friends would tell you that Brennan was born to pastor a church, but to him this is brand new. What started as a calling to ministry for Brennan back in 2003 has grown over the years to more than just being a pastor to middle school and high school students.
For the last nine years Brennan has served as the youth pastor of Faith Legacy Church and has now transitioned to the campus pastor of FLC Pavilions campus. If you have known Brennan for very long you know this is exactly what God has in store for him.
Brennan and Amy are passionate about families, community and helping raise up a generation who loves Jesus. They long to see marriages thrive and flourish. In their mind they see parenting as something that should never be done alone, it should be something that a “village” comes alongside with to encourage and champion moms and dads.
With excitement and anticipation, Brennan and Amy and their three girls are stepping into a community to lead. To lead the way God has asked them to in schools, homes, and in the community. We cannot wait to see all that God has in store for this new campus in 2018.
Help Us Advance the Vision
We acknowledge that the plan for this new campus will not be cheap, but the investment into what we believe God is going to do through this new campus will be generational. We pray to see generations of families’ lives significantly changed by Jesus because of Pavilions campus. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us?
